The Cinnamon Tanager ( Schistochlamys ruficapillus ), a species of bird in the Thraupidae family at Caatinga ecosystem in Northeastern Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, dry savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest. Brazilian names: bico-de-veludo, bicudo-do-tabuleiro, figueira, figueira-bico-de-veludo, saí-veludo, sanhaço-do-campo, sanhaço-pardo, tiê-veludo e zorro.
