Ilha Fiscal, island located within Guanabara Bay, near Rio de Janeiro downtown - the name comes from the fact there have worked the Guarda Fiscal, serving the port of the then capital of the Empire in the nineteenth century - it houses a museum of cultural history that is maintained by the Navy of Brazil.
