Cosmopolis Rural Workers Labor Union keeps an employee with a scale and computer at the entrance of Ester ethanol and sugar plant for controlling the workers production. Since the implement of this facility the workers income has increased around 50%. Although this system has worked successfully for the workers in Cosmopolis, Sao Paulo State, since 2000, no other Labor Union in Brazil has implemented it up to May 2008.
