Santa Teresa tramway crossing Lapa arches aqueduct in Rio de Janeiro downtown, Brazil - it is a historic tram line connecting the city centre with the primarily residential, inner-city neighbourhood of Santa Teresa, in the hills immediately southwest of downtown. It is nowadays considered a heritage tramway system, having been designated a national historic monument in 1988.
