Archaeology. One of the 1,150 clusters of rock art at the Toca do Boqueirão site. Design depicts two deer which, although harmonious together, may well have been painted in very different epochs. The smaller one, of a solid color, displays techniques used 12 thousand years ago, while the larger, drawn with open lines, is more typical of a style developed 8 thousand years ago. Parque Nacional da Serra da Capivara ( Capivara Mountains National Park ), state: Piauí, Brazil.
