Among the many stalagmites, there is a group known as the coconut palms - their unnatural tilt resembes a group of wind-bent palm tress - the inclination resulted when the force of floodwaters shifted this whole block of stone at Gruta da Mangabeira - Mangabeira Grotto, near Ituaçu in Bahia State, northeastern Brazil.
