Samba Schools Parade, Carnival, Rio de Janeiro. The "ala das baianas" is considered one of the most important for a school of samba. Composed, preferably, by ladies dressed in clothes that refer to old aunts of the first groups of Bahia samba of the early twentieth century, in Rio de Janeiro. Was introduced in the parade even in 30 years as a tribute to the "aunts" of samba, which Sambistas refuge in their homes at the time when the pace was sidelined. The traditional clothing of Bahia consists of torso, coat, cloth and skirt round the coast.
