Brazil's third tallest waterfall, the Cachoeira do Tabuleiro, a sliver of water that plunges some 273 m from a cerrado-covered escarpment into a crystal-clear pool, at Serra do Cipo National Park in Minas Gerais State, Southeast Brazil. The Cipo Range is one of the world most exuberant natural sets. It is classed as an integral protection unit according to Brazil’´s National System of Conservation Units (SNUC). This category allows for substantial public use, although this activity must be compatible with the overall conservation objectives of the park.
